A nightmare to remember. Rip Ray Harryhausen

It is always sad to hear a passing but it is always a pleasure to recollect what we knew and love about the newly departed.
Tonight, I put on hold my DS9 run to put back the blu ray of the clash of the titans and to recollect the fright I felt at the sight of the animated skeletons of Jason and the argonauts.
With a smile I recall the magnificient scare of the kraken and pegasus, and djinns, and warriors shaped out of clay, moving slowly across the celluloid frames.
You go back to the days of yore where the magic of the beginnings of the special effects was still powerful and full of wonders.
Scary monsters indeed, nightmares to remember in these days of CGI.
